Your Purpose: Rooted in Love and Discipleship in Christ

Have you ever wondered what your purpose is? Many people search for meaning beyond daily life. The answer is simple: your purpose is rooted in love and discipleship—following Christ and sharing His love with others.

This is not complicated, but it is powerful.

"Love one another as I have loved you… By this, all will know you are My disciples." (John 13:34–35)

This reveals two truths:

  • We are called to love like Christ
  • Love is the evidence of true discipleship
God loves you

What It Means to Be a Disciple

Being a disciple means knowing Christ, following Him, and trusting Him—even when life doesn't make sense.

Peter's story (Luke 5:1–11) shows this clearly. Even after failure, obedience to Jesus led to abundance.

The Daily Choice

"Take up your cross daily and follow Me." (Luke 9:23)

Discipleship is a daily decision. It requires surrender, but it leads to real purpose and fulfillment.

Love That Comes from God

"We love because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19)

Our love is limited—but God's love through us is powerful. This kind of love can transform families, workplaces, and communities.

Your Mission

Your purpose is twofold:

  1. Live as a disciple of Christ
  2. Help others follow Him

This is the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20)—a mission for every believer.

Living It Out Daily

  • Pray and study God's Word
  • Reflect on His love
  • Show kindness—even when it's hard
  • Step out and serve others

Your life may be the only example of Christ someone sees.

Answering the Call

"Here am I. Send me!" (Isaiah 6:8)

Your purpose is not found in success—it's found in following Christ and loving others.
