Prayer Matters

God of Jesus: Discovering the Father Through the Son God of Jesus — what does this phrase really mean? Put simply, it points to the most life-changing truth...

You Are a Chosen Generation: Discovering Your Purpose in God. You are a chosen generation. Those powerful words from Scripture remind us that we are not here by accident. God has set us apart for a purpose—to live as His people, share His love, and shine His light in a world that desperately needs hope. Understanding what it means to be chosen by God changes everything about how we see ourselves and our future. In this article, we’ll explore what it means to be part of God’s chosen generation, why it matters, and how you can live out that calling in your everyday life.

The Power of Intercessory Prayer for the Church: A Call to Unity and Action Intercessory prayer is a profoundly spiritual practice that allows believers to stand in the gap, lifting others before God and interceding on their behalf. Rooted in the selfless love of Christ, intercessory prayer goes beyond simply asking God for help—it’s an act of love that reflects God’s character and His desire for unity among His people. Through this act of prayer, we embrace the divine call to love our neighbours as ourselves, focusing on the needs of others, particularly those within Christ’s body.

Faith in the digital age is a daily challenge for Christians. In a world where smartphones and social media dominate, faith can easily be drowned out by constant notifications and endless scrolling. But God calls us to intentional living, to guard our hearts and to seek His presence above all else. This blog explores how believers can maintain spiritual health in the digital age while using technology wisely for God’s glory.

God’s love is steady—but it isn’t always predictable. In Scripture, God sometimes asks for things that feel unusual, even confronting. Hosea is told to marry an unfaithful woman. Abraham is asked to place Isaac on the altar. Noah builds an ark on dry land. Jericho falls after silent marches and a shout. Gideon’s army shrinks from thousands to a few hundred. None of it is random. Each “strange” command pulls back the curtain on a deeper truth: God is teaching trust, exposing idols, and showing that salvation is His work—not ours. And every paradox points to the greatest one of all: the cross. The place where divine love looks like loss, yet becomes victory. What seems foolish to the world becomes the power of God to save. When God’s leading feels confusing, these stories remind us—His ways are higher, His heart is good, and His love is always moving toward redemption.

Hope in the Midst of Doubt: Finding Jesus in Unexpected Places Gods Love for Sinners Shines brightest in our darkest doubts. Sometimes His grace is seen in the kindness of strangers, the beauty of creation, or the love of family and friends. The story of John the Baptist shows that even the strongest can question, yet in those moments we discover Jesus’ compassion and God’s unshakable love.

Praying in the Church: Why It’s Important Main Takeaway: Praying in the Church isn’t just a tradition—it’s a powerful way to connect with God, strengthen your faith, and build a profound spiritual unity with others. Jesus modelled it, the early Church embraced it, and today, it’s still a vital part of our Christian journey. In this article, you’ll discover why church prayer matters, how it shapes your faith, and what the Bible says about praying together. Plus, you’ll be invited to deepen your understanding through Bible study and fellowship.
