Family Life Weekend is about more than helpful ideas. It is about creating space for connection.

Join us for a relaxed lunch, dinner and family social night, and our brunch on Sunday morning at Bunbury Seventh-day Adventist Church. Join our welcoming community for food, conversation and time to connect with others from the Bunbury community.

Whether you are coming as a family, a couple, with friends, or on your own, you are welcome.

SESSION 1: 7pm Friday, 11 September - Youth Night - More then my story, discover who God say's I am

An honest night for young people to understand family patterns, regulate emotions, set healthy boundaries and build an identity stronger than inherited wounds.

SESSION 2: 9:30am Saturday, 12 September - The hidden rules that shape us, understanding messages we inherited - Part 1

Explore the patterns passed down through generations and learn practical foundations for emotional health, healthy connection and a different way forward.

Join Us For A Community Lunch

A shared community lunch for connection, welcome and conversation between the morning and afternoon programs.

SESSION 4: 2:30pm Saturday, 12 September - From hurt to healing, repairing what pain has broken

A day of prayer, reflection and restoration, making room to pay attention, grieve what has been, receive clarity and move forward with hope.

Family Social: 6:30pm Saturday, 12 September - Pizza night, all welcome

Join us for a Father and Son Men’s Breakfast with Errol Nembhard as he shares “From Hurt to Healing.”

SESSION 5: 10:30am Sunday, 13 September - WOMEN'S BREAKFAST (Daughter & Mom / Caregiver) Speaker: Paulette Nembhard

Join us for a special Daughter and Mum/Caregiver Women’s Breakfast with Paulette Nembhard.

SESSION 6: 7pm Sunday, 13 September - What's God trying to show me? Finding clarity in the in-between

Some baggage was never yours to carry. This session explores how to let go of burdens from the past, recognise what God may be revealing, and find clarity during life’s uncertain in-between seasons.

Discover how trusting God can bring freedom, healing and renewed purpose for the journey ahead.

SESSION 7: 7pm Monday, 14 September - The pain beneath the surface, healing hidden wounds.

Some relationships need repair. This session explores

—identifying hidden wounds, understanding how they affect our relationships and allowing God to bring healing and restoration.

Discover how honesty, forgiveness and faith can help rebuild trust and create healthier relationships.

SESSION 8: 7pm Tuesday, 15 September - Creating safe relationships, learning to love without fear

Strong families are not conflict-free. This session explores how to create safe relationships, work through conflict with grace and learn to love without fear.

Discover how faith, trust and healthy communication can strengthen relationships and bring families closer together.

SESSION 9: 7pm Wednesday, 16 September - Leaving a better legacy, building what future generations will inherit

What heals in you can outlive you. This session explores how personal healing can break unhealthy cycles and create safer, stronger relationships.

Family Life Weekend will be held at Bunbury Seventh-day Adventist Church, located at:

7 Woodley Road, Glen Iris WA 6230

The church is on Woodley Road in Glen Iris, near the corner of Woodley Road and Vittoria Road. When you arrive, look for the Bunbury Seventh-day Adventist Church building and follow the signs for Family Life Weekend.
